These stunning Open Pebble Eco- Silver stud earrings are completely handmade by Sarah Drew. They are not cast, so that each earring is a different shape, but makes up a unique pair.
Wear together for a statement look or wear individually.
The surface of the silver has been hammered by hand to create a textured finish, which is then polished with a soft satin finish to compliment the worn coastal look of Cornwall where Sarah lives.
The stud back is Sterling Silver.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
SARAH DREW
Makes contemporary, eclectic jewellery from objects she finds along the Cornish coast (driftwood, sea plastic, sea glass and slate pebbles) combined with semi-precious stones and pearls linked together with chunky hammered eco-silver chains, delicate crocheted fine silver and fused silver focal pieces.
With a passionate focus on sustainability, she uses recycled materials and found, discarded objects to create unique pieces that aren’t a strain on new resources and whose material components are traceable.
Sarah also uses traceable boulder opals from Australia set into eco-gold and eco-silver for magically coloured statement rings and pendants.
