Botanical Eco Printing

Botanical printing or Eco Printing is the process of using leaves, tightly bundled in fabric or stacked in layers of paper and steamed over hot water or immersed in a dye bath to extract and transfer pigments from the leaves to produce a unique print.

In this workshop Botanical Printer, Maggie Pearson will lead you in a forage for local leaves to use in your own unique prints to produce a silk or wool scarf, a stack of printed papers and a tote bag.

This is a full day workshop with Tea and cake will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch, or enjoy a delicious lunch in our cafe.

This class will be held in the Courses room at Cedar Farm
